Dear Parents,
We are so excited to share the growth Rise and Shine has been experiencing recently!
We are adding new team members, and working on new services to strengthen the quality of our program.

Miles
We are celebrating Miles’ as he transitions into his next stage of development. Although he hasn’t been with too long (just shy of one year) he is still connected to our history in a special way.
Archie & Jasper
These two have been with Rise and Shine, Humboldt Street, almost since the beginning. For 18+ months they have been a solild presence.
Now they are headed off to preschool! Two shining stars and all their brilliance will truly be missed!

Tote bags must be washed eah week. Please turn right side out before packing for the following week.

Extra clothes
The weather is warmer and playing outside is at the top of the list! Please pack extra clothes.

Notes display under the Messages section of the Procare child care mobile app labeled “drop-off notes.” Please add BEFORE signing your child in for the day.

Sun protection
Be sure to apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Pack a sun hat or long sleeves too!

Morning Health Check
Staff conducts a morning health check on all babies in attendance. Please allow extra time in the morning for this practice in keeping everyone healthy.

Well Care Facility
Rise and Shine Child Care Centers are well-care facilities and children with any symptoms are to remain home. Please refer to our health policy for an questions.
Non-contagious symptoms
If a child with non contagious symptoms, such as seasonal allergies, we will need a note from physician stating condition, expected symptoms and duration of exemption on file.

Facility of enrollment must be notified via ProCare of intended absence.
late drop-off
Morning drop off after 10:00 a.m. will no longer be permitted. Late drop-off causes disruption to the routine and affects other children.
Parents are, therefore, requested to schedule appointments accordingly.
Sign-in/out
Parents are to sign-in/out on BOTH posted QR Codes!

late pick-up
Late pick-up will incur a late fee of $5 per minute! We do not waive these fees and 100% of late fees collected goes to staff responsible for staying late with your child.

Mondays at montgomery Village
PITC Trainer Institute
We are excited to share that Miss Cary has been accepted into the PITC trainer institute.
Upon completion, she will receive a certificate of completion from WestEd and the California Department of Social Services, Child Care and Development Division (CDSS-CCDD) that recognizes her as a trainer for PITC Modules 1-4.

After 4 years we are finally able to add our 1/2 day Mondays to our Montgomery Village schedule effective August 2024!
All currently enrolled MV families that would like to add 1/2 Mondays to their schedule need to let Miss Cary know.
Monday hours, excluding holidays, will be 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
As we continue to build a quality program we also support the educational endeavors of our team. We’d like to give a hearty shout-out to
Miss Amanda who has earned her Site Supervisor Permit
and Miss Amy her Teaching Permit!
